Diabetes Can Be Reversed…..

with 2 comments

Hello There,
Most people when they look at diabetes think that it has to be controlled by drugs and to an extent that is true.
Many are on these drugs for life and are solely dependant on them to get them through their day.

But did you know that these drugs only treat the “symptoms” of Diabetes and do not address the root causes of diabetes itself.

The level of diabetes in aisian countries is far, far less than in the western world and do you think that maybe they are just lucky?

Not at all it is due to many other underlying factors here in the western world and it is these factors that need to be addressed.

I have some helpfull articles on here to assist people with diabetes but I can sincerely recommend visiting Matt Traverso’s website as he is a health expert from London,England and has some information on his site that will literally change your life if you have diabetes.

The site can be found on:

and is well worth the look.

Take a look through the articles as there is something for most peole there to use and I hope it helps you in some way.

So briefly what types of diabetes are there.

There are 2 types of Diabetes type 1 and type 2.

  • Type 1 Diabetes is typically diagnosed to young children and young adults and was previously known as juvenile diabetes or insulin dependant and this particular type is where in juveniles the body doesn’t produce insulin.
Insulin is the hormone secreted by the pancreas and it is needed to convert starch, sugar and other foods into the energy our body needs.
There are no preventions for this type of diabetes known at present but there are some cures for type 1 Diabetes but they involve pancreas transplants and In most cases, however, the need remains for the patient to take immunosuppressive drugs.
Another possible cure may come from the microscopic, nanotechnological area of science and it may be possible to have electronic dosage meters dosing out insulin as and when required and with the technological advances made in medicine the life expectancy of people with type 1 Diabetes is equal to that of people with no Diabetes at all. Putting it another way, people with type 1 Diabetes can, with proper treatment and education about the disease live as long as any one else and enjoy most of the things we all take for granted.
  • Type 2 Diabetes is where the body doesn’t produce enough insulin and this type is the most common form of diabetes.
Because the body doesn’t produce enough insulin then the sugar that is converted by the insulin stays in the blood and causes complications and over time can cause problems with your eyes, heart, kidneys and nervous system.
Some of the most common symptoms of the type 2 Diabetes is fatigue or tiredness, blurred vision a constant thirst and excessive urination.
If you think you may have the type 2 Diabetes then contact your Doctor for a check up but you can help yourself with type 2 diabetes as being overweight does contribute to having type 2 Diabetes, Losing weight can dramatically reduce your chances of ever contracting Diabetes
